Why it matters
- At the launch, Tourism, Industry and Commerce Minister Susan Rodrigues urged exhibitors to use the show to find customers, suppliers, partners and investors.
- The programme includes a second edition of BizLink, a business-to-business forum meant to connect entrepreneurs with investors, financial institutions, government agencies and strategic partners.
- This year’s exhibition also puts more emphasis on the creative industries.
What’s on the floor
Exhibitors can choose standard 10ft × 10ft booths in Auditorium 2, the International Pavilion, and the pavilion run by the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce and the Small Business Bureau. Auditorium 2 also has smaller 9ft × 6ft back booths. There are also outdoor lawn plots around Auditorium 1 and the entertainment area, permanent 15ft × 15ft booths in the main food court, and tents and larger spaces in the children’s area.
Corner and high-traffic “prime” spots are limited and allocated early. Sponsorship packages include exhibition space, from a 20ft × 20ft booth up to a 40ft × 60ft lawn area.
If you’re exhibiting
Register through the vendor form at guyexpo.gy/exhibit, which asks for your business details and preferred space. The GuyExpo Secretariat then confirms availability and next steps. Booth prices and deadlines aren’t published online, so ask the Secretariat before you commit. The older guyexpo.gy/register page is last year’s form.
Before the doors open, prepare:
- A price list with separate retail, wholesale and distributor prices, and your minimum order.
- Your capacity: how much you can supply each month, and your lead times.
- Compliance papers: labels, standards and certifications for buyers who ask. Our explainer on standards and product compliance covers what’s needed.
- Your terms: decide what credit, if any, you’ll offer. See what “Net 30” really means.
- A way to capture leads: note each contact’s name, what they need and the next step you agreed.
After the show, follow up within a week with a quote or a sample while the conversation is fresh.
If you’re buying or looking for partners
- Test capacity and consistency. Can the supplier deliver the same quality in the quantities you need?
- Ask for documents: business registration, tax compliance and product certifications. Our explainer on supplier qualification sets out what buyers check.
- Agree terms in writing: price, delivery, payment and what happens if something goes wrong. See how commercial contracts work.
- Price imports properly. If you meet overseas suppliers in the International Pavilion, work out the landed cost, which adds freight, insurance, duties and fees to the supplier’s price.
Making the most of BizLink
A busy stand creates visibility, but a deal needs a buyer, a price that works and the capacity to deliver. Use BizLink and the quieter weekday hours to set up short meetings with lenders, distributors and larger buyers, then follow up in writing.
What we don’t know yet
- Booth prices and the registration deadline
- The BizLink schedule and which institutions will take part
- How many exhibitors and international participants are confirmed
Our earlier report on GuyExpo 2026’s dates and focus has more background. We’ll update this guide if the organisers publish prices, deadlines or the BizLink schedule.
