Guyanese businesses showcase products, investment potential at ExpoComer 2026 in Panama

A delegation of Guyanese businesses is showcasing the country’s innovation, products, and investment potential at ExpoComer 2026 in Panama City, as local enterprises seek to expand their reach into international markets.

The delegation is participating under the banner of the Together We Win Business Network, which said this is the second straight year it has facilitated Guyana’s presence at one of the region’s leading international trade exhibitions.

ExpoComer is being held at the Panama Convention Center and forms part of a wider group of major exhibitions taking place at the same time, including Expo Turismo Internacional, Expo Logística Panamá, Expo Eléctrica Internacional Panamá, and Expo Tech.

The events bring together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, buyers, and trade missions from more than 30 countries, creating a major platform for commerce, innovation, and business partnerships.

Among the Guyanese companies on display are Picture Perfect Tours Inc., Clarkes Production Inc., LevelUp Coconut Water, ProWash Laundromat, Superior Shingles and Wood Products Inc., and Bulkan Timber Works Inc., along with several other emerging enterprises.

According to the Together We Win Business Network, participation at ExpoComer gives Guyanese businesses an important opportunity to connect directly with global buyers, distributors, and investors, while helping to position Guyana as an emerging hub for tourism, agro-processing, manufacturing, and sustainable wood products.

The network said the engagement also reflects the strengthening relationship between Guyana and Panama, as both countries continue to deepen economic cooperation and pursue expanded bilateral trade opportunities.

It noted that this aligns with the broader vision of Guyana’s President, Dr. Irfaan Ali, and Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino to strengthen regional partnerships and expand trade across the Americas.

President of the Together We Win Business Network, Marlon Joseph, said Guyana’s presence at the event goes beyond simply attending a trade fair.

“Our presence at ExpoComer represents more than participation in a trade fair; it symbolizes Guyana’s growing confidence on the international stage,” Joseph said.

He added that the participating businesses reflect the innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of Guyanese people, while helping to build strategic partnerships, open new markets, and ensure local enterprises play a meaningful role in the global economy.

The network said that as Guyana continues to experience rapid economic growth and rising investment opportunities, initiatives such as ExpoComer remain critical to ensuring that local entrepreneurs are positioned to benefit from and contribute to the country’s expanding global presence.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to empowering businesses, strengthening international partnerships, and promoting Guyana as a competitive destination for commerce, tourism, and investment.
